We’ll be with you every step of the way to ensure your first flight experience is safe, educational, and above all, unforgettable. **How does the experience work?** **Confirmation of meeting point:** Since paragliding depends entirely on weather conditions, we confirm the location and time of our meeting only the day before, after 7 PM. The wind’s direction and intensity determine everything, including the flight location, which can range from Lagos to Vila do Bispo. **Arrival at the flight site:** Upon arriving at the designated spot, you’ll meet your instructor, Nelson, a relaxed and passionate paragliding enthusiast ready to share his excitement about free flight with you. **Preparation and briefing:** Before flying, you’ll receive a brief pedagogical introduction to paragliding—how it works, the principles of flight, and what to expect during the experience. We’ll equip you with all the necessary gear and make adjustments to ensure maximum comfort and safety. **Waiting for the perfect moment:** Paragliding is highly sensitive to weather conditions. Sometimes, it’s necessary to wait up to three hours for the ideal takeoff moment. Use this time to relax, take photos of the landscapes, and soak in the energy of the location. **Takeoff:** When conditions are perfect, we’ll prepare everything for the flight. The moment of takeoff is thrilling and may vary slightly depending on body weight. **The flight:** Once in the air, it’s time to leave fear on the ground and embrace the excitement. The feeling is incredible—you’ll experience a mix of adrenaline, joy, and serenity as you soar over the cliffs and stunning landscapes of the Algarve coast. **Landing:** After what will feel like an eternity of pure magic, we’ll return to the ground with a smooth landing. You’ll already be thinking about when you can take to the skies again! **What do you need to know before the flight?** **Flexible booking:** To ensure you have the best possible experience, we recommend booking this activity for the first day of your stay. If conditions aren’t ideal, we’ll have more days to find the perfect moment. **Availability:** Keep in mind that not every day is flyable, so we ask for some flexibility and understanding.
