Walking tour: Tavira, Ilha de Tavira, Barril and Santa Luzia ‍♀️ A complete immersion in the city, nature and the ocean! ⏳ Duration: approx. 5 to 6 hours, 11 km Set off on an unforgettable walking adventure in the heart of the authentic Algarve, between heritage, lagoons, and wild beaches. A guided walk through historic towns, paradise islands, and fishing villages, punctuated by magnificent landscapes, picturesque alleys, and beautiful cultural discoveries. ️ On the agenda for the day: Departure on foot from Tavira, one of the most charming towns in the Algarve: castle, Roman bridge, typical markets, Republic Square... Boat trip to Ilha de Tavira, a beautiful golden sand island bordered by the ocean. Walk along the beach to Barril, famous for its anchor cemetery and old tuna fishing facilities. Take a mini train to Pedras d'el Rei, then gradually walk back to Santa Luzia, a peaceful octopus fishing village known for its white houses and typical colors, then through the salt flats to return to Tavira.
