The Punter Irish Pub

The Punter Irish pub is a great addition to the Vilamoura nightlife scene. Located just off the marina, The Punter is pure Irish pub in its décor and atmosphere. The bar was more or less shipped from Ireland to Algarve and then mounted in Vilamoura. It is packed with lots of memorabilia from old Dublin bars. Along with the wood and glass work, it is the welcoming feel of The Punter that keeps people coming back. From the streetside tables where you can enjoy a pint in the sunshine to the back room where the musicians set up, the pub has that intangible quality that makes Irish bars the best bars in the world.

Aside from all your usual favorite drinks - lagers, wines, cocktails - you can also find champagne, Kilkenny Stout, Strongbow cider and much more at The Punter. The Guinness served here is imported directly from Ireland - straight from Arthurs Gate to your glass! The staff can put up a great Sangria and caipirinha too.

Open from 11 am, The Punter is a great venue to watch your favorite sport.  There are plenty of screens in the bar showing Sky Sports and BBC via box. And there is live music every night with the resident band and the occasionally guest band.
