Dunes Beach Bar & Restaurant – fabulous beachside dining with show-stopper views. Dunes is a super day-to-night beach restaurant where the relaxed vibe suits the sunny setting perfectly. Open from morning till late, Dunes is where you go for quality food, great coffee, those stunning views, a laid-back vibe and the best Guinness in the Algarve!
 
Set on Garrão beach, between Vale do Lobo and Quinta do Lago, Dunes has uninterrupted views of the endless ocean and golden beach. With a friendly and relaxed atmosphere, you can start your day with your favourite coffee and breakfast, enjoy a leisurely lunch, sip cocktails at sunset and dine beneath the stars.

Serious about coffee
The boardwalk that runs from Vale do Lobo almost right to Faro, through Quinta do Lago and the Ria Formosa natural park, starts at Dunes, making Dunes Boardwalk Café the perfect stop for a pre-walk coffee or a post-walk chilled drink. The top of the range La Marzocco machines produce perfect lattes, cappuccinos, espressos and iced coffee. You can enjoy some bakery treats too and Dunes even has its own sourdough bread.
The Boardwalk Café is the only place at the beach where you can get a coffee or juice in the morning to take with you on a walk or to the beach. Salads, sandwiches and cookies to go are available too. There's even parking for your bikes at the Café.

Breakfast Brunch through to dinner
The food at Dunes is freshly prepared, full of flavour and hits the right spot at the right time. You can enjoy a tranquil morning coffee, with views of the dunes and sparkling ocean. The Breakfast Brunch menu runs through to 1pm and features healthy breakfast dishes as well as traditional full cooked breaksfasts. Favourites include the Dunes Pancake Stack, Eggs Benedict and Royale, and the BALT - bacon, avocado, lettuce and tomato.

From 1pm onwards, you can choose from the Dunes menu. Tender steaks, sizzling burgers, chicken piri-piri, fresh seafood and tempting prawns are among the choices. or opt for a tasty snack such as a Portuguese Bifana, codfish cakes or cheesy batatas bravas. Perfect for enjoing with friends with a cold drink in hand after time on the beach.

The Italian Corner
For lovers of Italian food and seaviews, you get both at Dunes! New for 2024, Dunes has super home-made pizzas and tasty pasta, prepared at the new Italian corner. Plus, you can get your pizzas to go - an easy end to a perfect lazy day on the beach.

Perfect for groups and parties
During the summer Dunes hosts regular Live Music sessions, making it a great place to gather with friends. In fact, Dunes is one of the best options for group gatherings. Special menus can be prepared or BBQ buffets arranged. The beachside venue makes it a super spot for Day 2 Wedding Parties and celebrations. The team are on hand to help craft your celebration with menu suggestions.

Watch the Big Game
You can catch all the sporting action at Dunes too. The big games are always on the screens, and you can enjoy a drink at the bar while following all the action.

Music
There are regular live music and DJ sessions at Dunes every Friday to Sunday.
