Located just slightly back from the centre of Praia da Luz, the entrance does nothing to prepare you for the interior. The spacious shop (over 180 m) spread over 3 levels is full of gorgeous pieces of art, displayed so as to show of each piece to its best.

Many of the items at Arrecadação da Luz are made from wrought iron. There are smaller decorative pieces and larger furniture items. All the pieces are handmade in Portugal and are unique – no two are identical. If you are searching for a specific item for your home or as a gift, but haven’t yet found it, Arrecadação da Luz can commission work according to your request and you can be guaranteed excellent craftsmanship and a unique piece of art.

The shop also offers a wonderful selection of jewellery. Again, all handmade and all original pieces. The jewellery is made is Portugal using silver, gold and semi precious stones. There are lovely picture frames, candelabra, paintings and wood carvings.
